The Super Lidar application aims to assist individuals who are blind or visually impaired with object and people detection, as well as providing information about their surroundings’ layout without the need for an active internet connection. Developed by Mediate, an AI start-up from Boston with a focus on innovative computer vision systems, the Super Lidar app utilizes artificial intelligence and Lidar sensors, now available on the iPhone 12 Pro, to enhance spatial awareness capabilities.
